Kochi Blue Spikers, a volleyball team based in Kochi, Kerala, participates in the Prime Volleyball League (PVL) under the management of the Muthoot Pappachan Group. Despite finishing seventh in the last two PVL seasons, the squad has made substantial changes to improve its performance.
In response to the need for change, Kochi Blue Spikers recently recruited a new coaching staff. ST Harilal takes over as Head Coach, while Boby Xavier serves as Assistant Coach, adding a new perspective to the team’s strategies.
Kochi Blue Spikers has signed two key foreign players to strengthen their roster. Universal player Jan Krol from Poland brings versatility to the team, while blocker Athos Costa from Brazil boosts the team’s defensive qualities at the net. With these changes, Kochi Blue Spikers aims to transform their fortunes and deliver a more competitive showing in the upcoming PVL season.
