Chennai Blitz, the volleyball team from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, has faced challenges in making a mark in the Prime Volleyball League (PVL). In the last season, they concluded in the 8th position, and in the 2022 PVL season, they secured the 6th position.
Chennai Blitz has made coaching and captaincy changes to improve their fortunes in the next PVL 2024 season. Ruben Adrian Wolochin has been named Head Coach, and Juan Jose Cobucci has been named Assistant Coach.
Additionally, to strengthen their squad, Chennai Blitz has introduced two foreign players – Leandro Mejja, a Blocker from Colombia, and Douglas Bueno, an Attacker from Brazil. With these strategic changes, Chennai Blitz aims to enhance their performance and competitiveness in the upcoming PVL season.
