The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise has changed its coaching staff for the IPL 2024 season. In a surprising twist, the team has bid farewell to the outgoing coaching duo, Mike Hesson and Sanjay Bangar, marking a new era for RCB cricket. The official announcement of this strategic move was made via the RCB Twitter account, Andy Flower’s appointment as the head coach of the RCB Men’s team.
Flower’s vast experience gives the RCB setup new energy. Flower is a respected coach and an ICC Hall of Famer. Having coached IPL and T20 teams worldwide, Flower has guided his teams to resounding victories in competitions, including the PSL, ILT20, The Hundred, and Abu Dhabi T10.
