KL Rahul Has Been Ruled Out Of The Remainder Of The IPL 2023 And The Upcoming WTC Final

The Lucknow Super Giants have received a major setback. Their skipper KL Rahul has been ruled out for the remainder of the IPL 2023 and the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia. Rahul suffered a significant tear to his tendon in the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and further tests and scans have confirmed the same. The injury will require surgery, and Rahul must focus on rehabilitation to regain full fitness.

The absence of KL Rahul from the Lucknow Super Giants’ playing XI will be a big loss for the team. Rahul was not only the captain of the side but also their second-highest run-scorer for LSG in the tournament. He had scored 274 runs in 9 innings at an impressive average of 34.25, which included two half-centuries. The news of Rahul’s injury has come at a crucial time in the IPL, where the teams are battling it out for a place in the playoffs.
