The Mumbai Meteors, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, has become a significant participant in the Prime Volleyball League (PVL), joining the league in the last season in 2023. Despite being a relatively new entrant, the team showcased a commendable performance by finishing in the 6th position in their debut season. Meteor Sports owns the Mumbai Meteors, and Sunny Joseph is the head coach, with Harun Khan serving as assistant coach.
In preparation for the upcoming PVL season, Mumbai Meteors have made strategic foreign player signings. Adding Universal player Christian Sotnikov from Russia brings versatility to the team, and Libero Hector Mata from Venezuela enhances their defensive capabilities.
