The Gujarat Giants Women’s team faced a challenging inaugural season in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), ending their campaign at the bottom of the table, marking a disappointing chapter in their cricketing journey. However, with a goal of atonement and comeback, the squad is preparing for a major revamp ahead of the 2018 WPL season.
The Gujarat Giants Women’s team made big moves in rebuilding their squad to produce a formidable comeback and eliminate the shadows of the previous season’s disappointment. The team opted for strategic changes ahead of the WPL 2024 Auction, releasing 11 players from the squad, signalling a significant shift in their roster composition.
