Ishan Kishan Replaces Injured KL Rahul For WTC Final Against Australia

Indian wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has been called up to replace the injured KL Rahul in the Indian team for the World Test Championship (WTC) Final. The highly anticipated match will be played against Australia on June 7, 2023, at The Oval.

KL Rahul injured himself while fielding during an IPL match between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. As a result, he was ruled out of the rest of the IPL 2023 season, and Karun Nair was named as his replacement for the team.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has now announced that Ishan Kishan will be joining the Indian squad for the WTC Final in place of KL Rahul.
