West Indies Mystery spinner Sunil Narine Has Announced His Retirement From International Cricket

The West Indies Mystery spinner Sunil Narine officially announced his retirement from international cricket. The 35-year-old spinner, renowned for his mystery deliveries and inventive spin, had a remarkable career spanning all formats of the game.

Narine gained attention during the 2011 Champions League T20, where he displayed his outstanding skills. Later that year, he made his international debut for West Indies. Over his international career, Narine represented the West Indies in 6 Test matches, 65 ODIs, and 51 T20Is.

One of his most remarkable feats was his integral role in helping the West Indies clinch victory in the 2012 T20 World Cup. Narine’s last appearance in West Indies colors was in a T20I back in August 2019.

He announced his retirement through his Instagram account officially,
“I appreciate it has been over 4 years since I last played for West Indies, but today I am announcing my retirement from international cricket. I would like to acknowledge and thank Cricket West Indies, the coaching staff, passionate West Indies fans, and of course, my teammates who enabled me to play at the highest level, in all formats, and with some memorable successes.”
