India is getting a good start on Day 1 of the Border Gavaskar Trophy at Nagpur. India was able to dominate Australia with Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling and Rohit Sharma’s batting. Meanwhile, the Australian media has come forward with allegations of ball tampering against the Indian players.
Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Siraj have been accused of ball tampering. Videos about this incident are currently going viral on social media.

The incident happened when Australia was 120/5. Ravindra Jadeja, who arrived to bowl the 45th over, took something from Muhammad Siraj’s hand, rubbed it on his finger, and then rubbed the bowl with that finger. Former England captain Michael Vaughan and former Australian captain Tim Paine took this and made it viral.

However, the truth about the alleged ball-tampering footage has now been revealed. Jadeja took the ointment from Mohammed Siraj’s hand to put on his finger. A closer examination of the suspected ball-tampering video footage shows that Jadeja applied the oil to his finger rather than the ball. Ravindra Jadeja bowled well on the first day of the match and took five wickets for India.
