UP Warriorz is a team representing Lucknow City owned by Capri Global Company, a financial services provider in India. Capri Global acquired the UP Warriorz team for Rs 757 crore in the WPL 2023. The team has bagged some of the best players in the world, including Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verma, Sophie Ecclestone, and Tahlia McGrath, in their squad for the upcoming WPL 2023 action.
UP Warriorz’s first match in the tournament is against Gujarat Giants, and they are all set to put up a strong show in the league. The team management has spent around Rs 12 crore on 16 players, including 10 Indian players and six foreigners, to build a well-balanced team.
