The Royal Challengers Bangalore Women’s Team has become one of the most exciting and challenging teams in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) following numerous impressive acquisitions. The Diageo Company owns the team, which acquired the RCB women’s team for a staggering Rs 901 crore.
The most expensive player in the WPL, Smriti Mandhana, was also acquired by the RCB, giving them a significant boost in their batting department. Additionally, the team secured key players Ellyse Perry, Renuka Singh, and Richa Ghosh for the WPL 2023 season, strengthening their squad even further.
With a strong roster of players, the RCB women’s team is now one of the strongest teams in the WPL. In WPL action, the RCB women’s team spent Rs 11.90 crore on 18 players, including 12 Indians and six foreigners, demonstrating their commitment to building a team that can compete at the highest level.
