Harry Brook Withdraws From India vs England Test Series For Personal Reasons

England’s rising cricket star, Harry Brook, has decided to pull out of the upcoming test series against India for personal reasons. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed this decision on Sunday, and Brook will be returning home with immediate effect.

The ECB said, “Harry Brook is set to return home with immediate effect for personal reasons from the England Men’s Test tour of India. He will not be returning to India. The Brook family respectfully requests privacy during this time. In light of this, the ECB and the family kindly request the media and the public to respect their wish for privacy and refrain from intruding on their private space.”

The specifics of the personal reasons for Brook’s withdrawal have not been disclosed, and the focus remains on respecting his privacy during this challenging time.

Due to Brook’s withdrawal, the England selectors will now initiate the process of confirming a replacement player for the Test series against India. The first match of the five-Test series will start at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on the 25th of this month.
