BCCI Announced India’s Squad For The Ireland T20 Series; Jasprit Bumrah Becomes The Captain.

The BCCI has announced the Indian squad for the upcoming T20 series against Ireland. Some notable inclusions and exciting comebacks have sparked enthusiasm among cricket fans.

One of the most significant highlights is the return of Jasprit Bumrah as the captain of the Indian team. Bumrah is making a solid comeback after recovering from an injury that kept him from the field for a considerable period. His return will undoubtedly boost the team’s morale and add a much-needed edge to the bowling attack.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the young and promising batsman, has been appointed vice-captain. With the absence of Ishan Kishan, the explosive wicket-keeper-batsman, the responsibility of the wicket-keeping duties falls on Sanju Samson.

The squad also features the talented youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, and Jitesh Sharma. Another significant comeback is that of Shivam Dube, the dynamic all-rounder. The squad’s spin bowling attack features the return of Krishnappa Gowtham and Washington Sundar, who have proved their mettle in previous outings for the national team.

The pacers’ department will be led by Jasprit Bumrah himself, along with the pace battery of Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, and Avesh Khan. This lineup promises to give the opposition a tough challenge in the T20 series.

However, the team will miss the services of star players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya, who have been given a well-deserved rest ahead of the upcoming commitments.
