Olympic Champion Neeraj Chopra continued his winning streak as he emerged victorious in the Doha Diamond League 2023. The 25-year-old athlete, also known as the Golden Boy, threw a massive 88.67m in his first attempt, securing the top position in the competition. This is the second time Neeraj Chopra has won a Diamond League meeting in his career, with his first victory coming in Lausanne last year.
Neeraj Chopra faced tough competition from Czech Republic’s Jakub Vadlejch, the Tokyo Olympics silver medallist, who hit a season-best 88.63m in his second attempt. Despite Vadlejch’s impressive performance, Chopra’s first throw was enough to secure his victory in the event.
