CSA Announces South Africa’s T20I, ODI, and Test Squads for IND vs SA 2023 Series

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has revealed the squad for South Africa’s crucial encounter against India in the upcoming tour scheduled from December 10, 2023, to January 7, 2024. This series has an exciting lineup of three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Tests, offering a display of great cricketing clashes.

A notable highlight in the squad announcement was the exclusion of Temba Bavuma, who previously captained South Africa during the recent Cricket World Cup. Despite guiding the team to the semifinals in the 2023 Cricket World Cup as captain, Bavuma’s performance as a player was underwhelming throughout the tournament.

In a significant shift in leadership roles, Aiden Markram has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading South Africa’s white-ball cricket, assuming the captaincy for both ODIs and T20Is.
