The Australia tour of India in 2023 will kick off this month on February 9. This tour consists of four Tests and three ODIs. This Test series is crucial for India, only if India wins this series can India qualify for the World Test Championship Final. On the other hand, the Australian team has already qualified for the World Test Championship Final.
India currently holds the Border–Gavaskar Trophy. In the last Border–Gavaskar Trophy held in Australia in 2020-21, India won 2-1. The ODI matches of the Australian tour will be played on March 17, 19, and 22. The ODI series is a preparation for both teams ahead of the 2023 World Cup.
