From July 3 to July 16, tennis fans worldwide will witness thrilling matches and remarkable performances from the world’s best players. This year, Wimbledon organizers have gone the extra mile by boosting the prize money by an impressive 11.2 per cent. The total prize pool has reached a staggering £44.739 million, equivalent to approximately INR 465 crores, 37 lakhs, and 39 thousand.
In the singles category, reigning World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and French Open champion Iga Swiatek will lead the charge. Both players are riding high on their recent successes and will aim to continue their winning streaks on the hallowed grass courts of Wimbledon.
